Insurance
We do not rent without a current insurance policy in effect. Client must provide a "Certificate of Insurance" making JKM Productions. a "loss payee".
Pick-up and delivery
Pick-up and delivery to occur at JKM Productions. JKM Productions will Pick-up and deliver equipment within the "Studio Zone"for a flat fee of $30.00. If client needs the rental item installed or removed, the rate is $45/hr with a ½ hr minimum in addition to the above delivery fee.
Check Out and Return
Rental equipment returned to JKM Productions will be checked for physical damage upon receiving it.
Invoicing and Collections
Rentals shall be net 10 days. No exceptions. After fourteen days JKM Productions will pick up the equipment. Invoicing done prior to the rental.
Non-working or Broken Rental Items
If rental item is not working, we will attempt to diagnose the problem over the phone. If we cannot fix it over the phone, our technician will deliver a replacement item, if we have one. If we do not have a replacement, the rental is terminated until such time as we are able to fix it. Clients shall be credited for time item is unusable from the time client tells us it is not working until we can fix it (based on a 10 hour day). For example, if a client calls us at 10:00am with a problem and we are not able to fix it until 2:00 pm, he is credited with four hours or 40% of a rental day.
Broken Items
Items that fail due to an electronic or wear problem are not charged to the client. Items that fail due to misuse or have physical damage are billed to the client.
